Simon and crew,

We all know that Search is not working and that there are issues with fixing it..

So I am left with trawling through lots of pages of old threads to find a thread I was interested in previously..

So I search through 30odd pages of General and find the thread I wanted! wicked... I open the thread and it says "This has been to the muppet forum" so I now have to trawl through another 30odd pages or more of the muppet forum... I find the thread... wicked..
"this thread has been moved to Non-Scooby related" you get the idea.

Is it not an easy mod to allow the thread url to be added to the "This thread has been moved too message" please please pretty please.... it is doing my head in!

Cheers

JGM :)

Hi All

Apologies for the delay.

The only problem with doing this (and the reason that it wasn't done) is that it encourages people to post in the wrong forum (just to get the traffic to their thread) as the link will still remain.

All the best

Simon

No problem with a delay, no rush.

But surely it does stay in the wrong forum already anyway?

As the message remains jusat says "This thread has been moved to muppet forum"

If it said "This message has been moved to the muppet forum <link to thread>"

I dunno how that will effect anything?

It was only a suggestion Simon and no problem if it cannot be done, or you would prefer not to etc..

Cheers
