Hawkeye front bumper removal. ANNOYED

I really do feel like it always happens to me.
I've read many threads and watched many videos to triple ensure I know what I'm doing.

My history is fixing small and large printers with delicate sensors and mirrors and completely understand the words gentle, fragile and take your time..

Undid the top black button clips with no issues and went to do the arch screws. Ones completely rounded and the other has no head. Not enough thread to use tweezers on it so I guess I will need to drill them out at a later date?

Will come back those later and continued to try to get the grill out.

I can see the tabs and following this thread on removing the grill
https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=957478&highlight=clear+headlight

I was pressing the tabs from either side and the centre grill section just snaps. I would have expected it if I had club hands. I should have got into a rage and ripped the others out but I know I'm still left with the rounded screws on the edges.

Is drilling the side screws the best way to remove them?

Snapped far too easy. Would have said it was glued previously.

You could have left the centre grille in place for removing the bumper :(

The bumper to wing fixing can use either of these......

Thanks Don.

Found the clips under motorbikes for cheaper & correct size compared to those listed under subaru.

One thing I'm finding is that the part number for the grill on opposing force comes up as newer models on google & subaru.com

I can't even see a grill for sale at ICP.
91121FE060PG (hopefully I've pasted the right one for blue
)

Current part number for an 0C2 finished Centre grille is 91121FE262PG

Finally off!

I needed to be a little more forceful pulling the triangles out and the rounded screws were able to push through easily.

Now it's off I can remove the broken plastic screw in the hole for the number plate.

Just need to source another grey clip.

All done 👍 managed to get 2 clips from halfords to hold the metal bracket in place and need to change the silver screws for black longer ones and wait for the grill to come from America but I'm super happy.

My grill was extremely hard to get out even with the bumper off. Wonder if the tabs were glued as there was a residue on them I had to scrape off.

Bonus is I can adjust the bracket to lean the plate up or far back
