What's this trim part?

Hi all,

2007 Hawk STI.
Found this on the drive this morning, I think it's nearside something considering where I found it.
Any idea what it is and where it goes?
It has a flexible rubber piece attached which looks FUBAR'D, but no part numbers....so a part that clips onto something underneath somewhere? The oval hole has a fresh split in it.
There is a Denso logo on it, but nothing else....

*****EDIT**** It's from the nearside rear part of the side skirt and sits just before the wheel-arch. Just got to work out how to re-fit.

Should the round button on the Splash board pop out if I get a flat tool under one of the grooves?

I can feel it's still in place but I'll need to remove it to re-fit the piece.

Many thanks.

The "round button" is a two piece trim clip 909140020 - so yes, pop the centre up to remove.
