X plate thing is a myth. The last few cars were on a 51 plate (eg MartinMs)cos type approval ran out after that. There are quite a few Y platers about though like mine.

I've got one of the 51 cars as well. Private plated now though. :D

Mines a Y plate and the number is over 1000 can't remember exactly as car is tucked away in the garage
