1999 Subaru Impreza RB5 for sale £3500. I've listed it on ebay again for bids starting at £3000 again as well.
I've owned it for quite a few years now but it really needs someone to give a bit of TLC and restore it.
The arches started rusting out and the sills were damaged from a trolley jack being put in the wrong place by a mechanic, so I had Alex O'Rouke Welding near Lewes weld in some new panels and paint it in primer but I haven't got round to getting it painted yet.
The gearbox has a bit of a crunch going into 4th if you rush it and one of the brake calipers is painted green as it was a 2nd hand one off of ebay.
There is a full Roger Clark Motorsport cat free exhaust included although a standard front section is currently fitted as it has a cat for MOT.
The interior is in very good conition except for the drivers seat and door card armrest which both show a bit of wear and tear.
The sill covers aren't fitted but will come with the car.
The power steering pump is a bit noisy when you go round a corner.
The cam belt was done a couple of years back by Extreme Scoobies at Boreham.
There is a small dent on the off side front wing where someone has leant on it when working in the engine bay.
I still use the car for work occasionally to give it a good run as it's 23 miles each way, but the battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge as well as it should. It starts ok but I have to keep topping it up with a battery charger.
For more info message me or call/text me on 07593 428563 Craig. No part exchanges please.

I've fitted a new battery now so it's starts fine whether it's hot or cold. I've also fitted new petrol flap clip so the flap opens and closes as it should now.

Hi guys,
I notice that the last couple of comments are fairly derogatory against the state of the car, is it that bad after the welding was undertaken?
thanks

I think you would be better getting it painted and shoving a 2nd hand box in there. There is alot to do on that car and in it's current state will only appeal to people looking for a project.
have you had a quote for the paintwork?
2and hand box & diff can be had for around £300

Maybe it's an idea to post up what some of the repairs would cost? That way, a potential buyer will know what they're up for to get it how they might want. Any quotes you have might help someone to decide to take the plunge. Just a suggestion.
