London Toffs at it again

So owd khan is sticking his nose in,

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-48989805

While imn not really bothered either way as i never go to london, the bit thats gets me is in the fine print,

https://www.london.gov.uk/sites/defa...lip_report.pdf

'The Tulip is proposed in an exceptionally prominent location, and because of this and its height, would become a defining element on London’s skyline. The panel does not think the architecture is of the world class quality needed to justify this prominence.'

So basically they don't think the architect is posh enough to design a building in london. Toff's in action at its finest.

And they wondered why the rest of the country doesnt really give a toss about london.

Let's be honest, the real reason it's been rejected is because it looks like a giant kn0b, and poor little Sadiq is worried he'll feel intimidated ;)

TBH if it doesn't meat the planning regs and the relevant guidance then it shouldn't go ahead. Without looking into the detail, looks like they need to address a few key issues.
