Passenger Window not Working

Hi all

I have a 2002 Bug Eye, which was bought with the passenger side drivers window not working.
When I bought it, I was told the motor had been tested and worked, so it was either a wiring or switch problem.
I've not tested the motor yet. Replacing the switch panel in the drivers door hasn't fixed the problem.

Before pulling the motor on the passenger side, is there anything else I can check for? Does that window have a common failure point?

First question would be is the replacement switch known to be good?

Beyond that, does it work from the drivers controls and have you tried the switch from the opposite side?

Next question would be do the speakers and central locking for that door work? Just to eliminate a more serious issue really

After that I'd be wanting to check the motor, easiest way would be to plug it into the other side and see if it operates unless you have the ability to test without doing so

Thanks for the reply.
The passenger switch doesn't work either. I replaced the drivers side as I think when that fails, the passenger side doesn't work any more. It came from MB Developments and is supposed to be working.
All speakers and central locking work.

Looks like I'll be pulling the motor next.

That'd be my next port of call too, could even be a loose connection if your lucky. If the motor works next step would be wiring which will be a right bi**ch
