After a secondary cat

Hi I've been talking to breakers and exhaust shops, but thought best to give enthusiasts a go, I've got a scorpion secondary cat bypass and cobra exhaust, with resonator. but just finding it a touch too loud for daily driving, just me being a complainer
(Bug eye wrx)
Does anyone have one lying about that they're alright with swapping/selling?
Located near swindon
Cheers,
Phil

or go to a good exhaust place and ask them to weld one into your down pipe , if you are putting a down pipe cat back in then at least a map check is needed

Cheers, I'll do that, seems it's more effort than I thought at first

What kind of backbox do you have? Changing this may be a less painful process.

or simply add a centre resonator..........

Cobra resonated exhaust fitted, it's just me being sensitive I think.
Sounds awesome when in the mood, but long motorway journeys aren't great

I removed a secondary cat for a bypass pipe and it made almost no difference on its down. Maybe very slightly deeper but difficult to tell.

I've got a low miles, year-old ScoobyWorld Racebox rear silencer for sale that is great for a daily driver- very good at not droning in the cabin but still a great sound outside and when pushing on, just not huge volume.

Oh ok well that scuppers that plan, I'll just put up with it on longer journeys then. Cobra say it's a subtle difference from standard so it can't be that loud haha

or a get a silencer welded into mid section along with the other one you have in the same section , i would say about 20 to 30 per quieter , again a good exhaust place can do that and you could pick the silencer you want , i know it would be quieter as i went the other way on a different car and got both resonators removed even though they were small it was quiet a difference in noise , the system i have is bi modal so it simple it shuts flaps in the exhaust so best of both worlds , but for you a second silencer and no re map would be needed
