Hawkeye Exhaust Backbox
Whats out there for 2006 WRX STI Hawkeye,
I already have a mid pipe so only interested in backbox. Looking something louder than the prodrive and want the deep flat 4 rumble, not wanting something that's high pitched whining. So something like nurspec R , H&S Afterburner Raptor etc Will need delivered to Northern Ireland. |
I have the afterburner vortex on mine and it sounds perfect, lovely deep rumble to it.
Look on scoobyworld they do a straight exit or an angled exit in 2.5 inch or 3 inch fitment. |

which one do you have, I've always been worried with the angle exit hanging lower and fouling on speedbumps
heres mine, i bought it new for £250 i think second hand they go for around £150-£180 http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/ind...0cr92h6to8i4n2 https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...cae2eaab46.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...2ea9572f71.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...fe50833ec4.jpg |

http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/pro...oducts_id=4935 Hmmm... £22 shipping... so £72 all in and its going to be in better condition to the nurspec backbox (also dented and not off a Subaru which will cost around same money to refab to fit) that I picked up and will be a direct fit so might risk it on payday. Also the dent at worse will have crushed some sound deading material so might actually make the burble even deeper :) |

either way its gotta be worth a punt for 50 sheets, shame its not angled exit though
It has the angled exit just not on the listing, the straight exit has slot more curve to the pipework http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/pro...oducts_id=3393 reckon its possible to weld onto the dent and pull it out slightly ? |
