What do you think would be the cost to get a modern car converted to full on electric?

Probably more than just buying an electric car in the first place.

Just buy a Tesla 3 or Hyundai Kona EV

Jaguar’s classic dept will charge £60k to convert a series 1/2 E-type

Probably about right considering the additional mods required to fit the drivetrain in as well as the man hours involved (think it’s about £150 an hour +vat for work on classic Jags)...approx 10 hours.

Fill the boot with batteries ..

(Maybe it's half electric already - we don't know)

Cheaper to keep your present one and take the bus / bike more often , that much is pretty much guaranteed

I live in Amsterdam so cycle and take public transport a lot already lol. I did put a deposit down on a Tesla Model 3 but then the price rocketed to just north of 70k euro so did not go through with it. Waiting time on the model 3 is now insane here.
