E63 Purchased

Guys,
Did a deal remotely which I was happy with.
Travelled to Mercedes Manchester central on Tuesday.
Belfast to Liverpool ferry, drive to Manchester then back again Tuesday night, into Belfast Wednesday morning.
Long trip, but very happy.

Bye bye W212, welcome home W213https://i685.photobucket.com/albums/...20-%20edit.jpghttps://i685.photobucket.com/albums/...20-%20edit.jpghttps://i685.photobucket.com/albums/...20-%20edit.jpgReally really pleased, so much nicer inside than my last car.
Road noise, not so keen on that.
Performance exhaust noise, well, absolute hooligan springs to mind.
Still getting used to it, so many settings, absolutely love the dash.

What a beast. Personally I love the exhaust tone.

Tell you what, you only think our roads are in poor state of repair.
The roads I drove on around Liverpool and Manchester are utter shyte.
Surfaces are all chewed up, mini potholes(like an inch or two of the tarmac has lifted away), and then bigger potholes.

This the 4matic version?

Yeah, indeed it is.
It just goes, where as the previous E63 went if it was nice and dry, but complained a lot, and was a tad tail happy during the process, although it mostly fixed itself.
Prior to that, my C63 just seemed to want to kill you.

Lovely :D

Although my C350 cdi would have it :lol1: jealous, much

I had the car professionally detailed, paint correction, crystal serum ceramic coating, plus Exo.
It was done by PMG Autocare in Belfast for all you locals. Very nice and down to earth guy.
Gave me a list of possible options after asking about my about my cleaning regime, and then explained the differences.
What I chose comes with a 5 year guarantee also, just needs a free check up every 12 months.

Really pleased how it turned out.

Having owned a 6.2 C63, I'd say skip that car, and go for a 2014-17 5.5 E63. Far better car in every way in my opinion.
OK, maybe not just a shouty as the C63 as it pops and bangs continually.
On cold start with the 5.5 E63, you better be on good terms with your neighbours, as its way louder than the 6.2 C63 on cold start :D

Price wise they are about the same iirc as I'm pretty sure I had a nosey, thing that put me off is the size.

Fair enough, the E class is quite a big larger than the C class, but definitely worth it overall personally.
