Sti v3 air intake sensor location

hi guys

I have a sti v3 and trying to understand if my air intake location on wing is standard or not.

my car does not have a cold air feed at front near air box

Anyone ever seen this set up before ?

Looks as if it's had a "snorkusectomy" and you have an "inwing" cold feed to the standard airbox.

item 1 below referred to as a "snorkus" but officially a "chamber assembly"

Haha snorkusectomy ! Love it Don.

Yes I suspected there must be a feed inside the wing - will need to do some more investigation on this.

The air box does sounds like an induction kit upon revs (if that's makes any sense)

Thanks mate
