Should dccd do this

so i had my 2007 hawk sti in manual mode set on the lowest green light, i was in a queue going round a right hand corner and when i set off (slowly crawling) i noticed that the car had a wobble to it similar to when you try and reverse in auto mode (like the diff binding up)
its done this before over a year ago as i pulled out of a parking space into a tight right hander.

is this normal?

so bottom green light and manual mode for slow maneuvers (forward or backward)

i usually leave it like this all the time for normal/spirited driving, is this ok? i dont think for a minute there is an issue with my box but everytime the dccd does this it reminds me of how wrong it feels.
