Misheard Lyrics
 

I'd always thought the Lyrics to Breathe by The Prodigy went "Psycosomatic Alacazane", I've just discovered it is actually "Psycosomatic, Addict, Insane"! Quick Google and it turns out I'm not the only one to get that one wrong! :idea:

A friend back in my college days also had a cracking one for this tune: We all knew the correct lyric "Top one, nice one, get sorted", my mate thought it was "Stomp all night and get sore feet!".

The Beeb has had a quiz on its website for misheard lyrics for a few months now, there were a few I got wrong: Misheard Lyrics Quiz

I’ve always thought Out of space said “I’m consenting to out space, to find another race” for some reason. Turns out it’s “I’m gon’ send him to out of space”. Who’d have guessed.

I thought it was "I'm transcending to outer-space". :lol1:

Another one I thought of just now was Professional Widow by Tori Amos. Instead of saying “Honey bring it close to my lips yes”, I always thought it sounded like “I’ll only break your nose if I hit you” 😄

Not so much misheard lyrics but alternative lyrics, I can't listen to Robbie Williams' Angels without singing the lyrics to the Shirehorses (AKA Mark & Lard) Ar$holes :D

My favourite was Princes in Purple Rain "Honey, I know, I know, God is a triffid" whereas it's "Honey, I know, I know, times are changing." :lol1:

Havnt bothered with live radio music anyway since Mark an Lard disbanded / john peel croaked - 2004 !! can you believe it
