Wheres thet Subaru Sound gone?
Guys,
When did the "Boxer Rumble" disappear? When it's nothing to do with a boxer, it's just the headers being unequal. Anyway. When did that stop? You don't hear any subaru's grumbling around anymore and it's sad... did subaru just decide they wanted a different kind of customer? it seems to my ears after about 05 they started using equal length headers no? or am i (not) hearing things? Thanks lads |

the 08 onwards have massive rear silencers which kill the sound drastically , but once deleted or upgraded they get the rumble back.

I have never cared for the rumble with the stock exhaust manifold, sounds lazy to me. The Group A cars sound great and also with the GT Spec exhaust manifold.
