Subaru - ~10k budget
 

My bro is after a new car - hes thinking about buying a BRZ or a fiat 125 but im trying to persuade him for 10k he can get a decent scoob! Anyone got any leads/links?

Preferrably not too modded, hes a lot more conservative than me, so he wont like massive bore de cat exhausts etc ! something nice and clean with relatively low mileage is great.

If was after a BRZ or Fiat 125 I'd be loathed to recommend an old scoob if I were you! No matter how good an example you buy, anything under £10k is going to be pretty old and requiring of significantly more maintenance than either of the aforementioned. That said, if his eyes are open to the potential costs then I'd probably go for the best available Blob WRX...with the PPP or a remap it'll be loads more of an event IMO then a BRZ or 125. Even a really good one should leave plenty in the slush fund for keeping it going. From a brief skirmish on Pistonheads, this one looks potentially promising:
