Unbranded Headers / Uppipe
 

Hi All,

Has anyone fitted unbranded Ebay Stainless headers onto their Newage without issues?

Do the headers from a blobeye fit a hawkeye. Im able to pick up the headers and uppipe for £140 which I though was cheap. Car power wise is standard with PPP pack.

wouldnt bother mate. The standard cast headers will be absolutely fine until higher power (high 300's +). Perhaps consider ported standard headers matched with a harvey up pipe for a bit of improved spool - but even that's not really necessary unless you're running a bigger turbo. Don't buy into the more aftermarket parts = better school of thought.

Unless your manifold has an issue - cracked, damaged etc? And you need to change regardless.

yeah OEM headers are just fine or mabys even get them ported

yes I have a ebay uppipe bought it for £50 new and its been on the car 2 years and still strong. fitment was spot on and its happily boosting on 260hp

most of the cheap stuff is poorly made / sized and often does more harm than good as it alters the exhaust flow resulting in poor flow, boost, etc......
