Nice. Looks very mean in black.

Vxr2010 02 March 2019 03:16 PM

i agree, it’s like a gunmetal grey , very clean all over , only been in the uk for a month , the one it’s replacing is getting a bit tatty and mileage is high , a few mods due on new car , tracker a remap plus pump and a uk stereo with bluetooth , it has a set on 19 inch rims with 245 profile on them i did not even expect that would actually fit on it did not think there was room

Russell38 02 March 2019 05:48 PM

They import some very clean cars do harlow jap autos some very nice skylines on there

Smithys STI 02 March 2019 07:03 PM

Hawkeye D 03 March 2019 07:51 AM

Awesome looking machine, enjoy!

99greenwagon 03 March 2019 07:54 AM

what wheels are they? what width?

Vxr2010 03 March 2019 08:39 AM

Rays sportec 10 inch rims 245/35/19 , car is spotless there’s no rust , my main worry was the engine , it seems to have a sports cat but still running standard boost , the boost controller is only showing one bar , bit it’s getting booked in for a tune , blitz suspension , under sealent ordered , new
cd player will be added and lots of little jobs , the fsti i’m breaking is donating a few parts including a cat back which has a hks back box and a centre delete , i will probably take off the dump valve and boost controller and put back to normal

Vxr2010 03 March 2019 08:41 AM

shame i’m breaking my other fsti as it’s still a runner but mileage is high and it has a forged lump plus a collection of other doner stuff for the new car , the one i’m braking is a 04 fsti so bumpers trim brembos interior will be up for sale soon

Robbied 03 March 2019 10:09 AM

The new one looks very nice!

STI -V4 03 March 2019 10:15 AM

nice, do you know what ET they are? i have prodrive gc01e 18 inch on my foz, those 19s make the car sit abit better. i might be tempted to get something similar in same size, mine is on coilovers so can be tweaked to suit.

Vxr2010 03 March 2019 07:58 PM

not sure on wheel offset size , hopefully get the car tomorrow so i will find out then

Vxr2010 03 March 2019 08:01 PM

it’s got a momo steering wheel , it has the original sti wheel with it , how come the airbag warning light is not on , original wheel will be going back on

99greenwagon 04 March 2019 07:09 PM

hope the new foz is all good mate. did u manage to find out offset on wheels?

Vxr2010 04 March 2019 10:33 PM

Not had a chance sorting out about 1km worth of wiring , the arches have been pushed out slightly the inner lip has been rolled , catches slightly with a full load so i’m going to raise the back end a bit

It's just missing a resistor.

I saw this advertised too, it looks great.

Good find. Glad it went to an enthusiast!

Vxr2010 05 March 2019 08:25 PM

well story so far , boost controller removed and put back to standard , and looking to get it mapped in april with Richard at FB tuning , new cd player in now with bluetooth , i’ve removed about half bin bag of wiring from the car i could not believe how much there was , i had to repair a few wires around the ecu that had been plumbed in for something , so spent the last two days carefully cutting out wire that was added for stuff like speakers boost controller and other bits , tracker now in , it has an immobiliser and alarm but i’m getting a cat 1 fitted any way , sti steering wheel back in , i’m going to raise the rear coilovers slightly as with adults in the back it rubs some times, which will hopefully cure the rub , repaired cigarette wiring on both sockets , i think it’s got a sports cat in it not sure if it’s bern mapped i think it may have been it seems to boost to around 1 to 1.1 bar , it’s a very clean car all over only slight issues is the arch bending to make the alloys fit , it’s not obvious from the outside of the arch just the inner edge so dinitrol spray ordered , when that’s all done time to break my old fsti , which will be a challenge , i will update as and when if people want to know what i’m doing to it ?

Jay kay 05 March 2019 09:13 PM

Looks sweet but its a shame the wiring had been butchered. Hoping to see it around Herts soon. Whereabouts are you, I'm at the bottom close to the M25

thanks mate, ive just purchased some 18x8.5 offset 45. hoping they will be ok.

Vxr2010 06 March 2019 08:12 PM

I think lower profile tyres on the 18 will help , to be honest i’ve not noticed the 225 v 245 width difference , and both cars are on the same brand of tyre , i have put a boost gauge in today , im not sure what boost it’s running yet , i’ve also put back on original boost control set up , took it for a spin after that , it seems even quicker than the other fsti that’s running 330 , it must of been mapped , i just wonder what boost its running and if it’s running ok , map check due on the 02/04 , i left hks dump valve on it does sound nice even through i have not really been into having them , rear suspension also raised , tomorrow tighten hand brake a bit more , put some pagid front pads on convert it from kph to mph and put a splitter in the bonnet scoop , upgrade alarm now due saturday
