Clutch differences for 2005 models

I suspect I might have to replace my clutch in the not too distance future (starting to get suspicious release bearing type noises, and have a lot of nasty reverse hill starts), and looked at the Exedy website to see which version I need. My car is a 2005 WRX Wagon, but the catalogue states that the clutch model changes midway in 2005. It's FJK2033 for early 2005, and FJK2034 for after that. What's the difference between these two clutches, and how do I know which will fit (ideally without taking the gearbox off to find out!)?

its the change between the last of the 2.0 WRX MY05 and the early 2.5WRX MY06 that the changes occur.............

2.0 cars still use the traditional Subaru 'pull' type kit whereas the newer 2.5 WRX uses a more European style 'push' type

nothing interchanges between the 2x types!!!

The Exedy catalogue page gives both early and late 2005 models as EJ205 engines, so is that a mistake on their page?

is suspect it is missing a "5"..............probably should read EJ255 for the late 2005 although as above its technically an MY06 car

FJK2034 is the "PUSH" type kit i mentioned above and totally wrong for a 2.0 WRX
