Bit naughty of the BBC

Russell38 25 February 2019 06:21 PM

i can't take the bloke seriously after all the EDL crap even if he has got some serious points to discuss

dpb 25 February 2019 06:57 PM

Everybody's out to make a buck

would you believe it !

RS_Matt 25 February 2019 09:20 PM

When Sweeney pulled out a photocopy of a death threat text sent by Tommy to his former co-worker at the end was comedy gold.

Tidgy 25 February 2019 10:22 PM

Whether robinson is a prick or not does set a rather bad view of panorama and john sweeney.

The Trooper 1815 25 February 2019 11:44 PM

He could always go and live in a less tolerant country,

dpb 26 February 2019 11:03 AM

Wouldnt he have got more hits with Pandorama , pandering the middle class licence holders ?

RS_Matt 26 February 2019 02:04 PM

Tommy banned from Facebook and Instagram right after his Panodrama BBC expose gets over 1,000,000 views.

....so both platforms have let Tommy's often generalising Islamic posts slide but as soon as he starts uncovering the establishment...

He's much less useful. He's a very smelly stain on our country.

dpb 02 March 2019 07:38 AM

Only 2% can legally get away without one apparently.

Fark shelling out extra on top

JackClark 02 March 2019 10:40 AM

We've just cancelled ours. We only watch YouTube, PS4 and Amazon but we're sick of the BBC pushing their agendas on us.

You definitely need to research what you can't watch if you're cancelling because it's pretty widescale.

With the Hope not hate/BBC takedown of Tommy and his clinical response there are quite a lot of people calling for Tommy to investigate Jill Dando, Mike Smith & Sarah Green and the Cliff Richard takedown.

Tommy's #Panodrama YouTube vid has flown past 1 million views now, I can't help thinking the BBC should have let Tommy continue to take himself down.

dpb 03 March 2019 12:36 PM

Shortly to lose his right to broadcast crap on youtube ....

RS_Matt 07 March 2019 11:07 AM

YouTube stand by Tommy, but Panodrama has lost 100,000 views

BBC bias under investigation by Ofcom.

What in your opinion wouldn't have qualified as strange timing? Do you think the AG should have made his decision sooner, or taken even longer than 5 months to come to it?

So he was charged, found guilty, found innocent on apeal and now they are trying to do him again for the same thing? Thought they needed new evidence etc to rebring a trial?

He wasn't found innocent on appeal, the conviction was quashed due to a procedural technicality. In this case, it is possible to have a retrial with no new evidence as the original trial has been nullified.

ah ok, i dont really know the full ins and outs

pimmo2000 09 March 2019 02:10 PM

I struggle with people who judge content on who is presenting it.

If you think something is BS just because you don't agree with the person telling you, you're an idiot. TR isn't a public hero, but then neither are any of the MPs or senior officials in any walk of life (not say he's either). So take the content, research and work out the facts.

I've cancelled my TV license too, I looked into it and never touch BBC iPlayer, or used terrestrial TV .. so no reason for me to have it. My Virgin Media STB is in a cupboard not even wired in.

ALi-B 09 March 2019 05:35 PM

What I find fascinating is the non-response from all other factions of the media. Normally they’d be salivating over a ‘gotcha’ incident at the Beeb, think back to Jeremy Clarkson and the coverage on that. Now we have Sweeney being caught well and truly with his pants down...and not the first time (remember when he lost the plot with the Scientologists) and yet there’s barely a peep about any of it. What’s that all about? :wonder:

Even if you don’t support or like TR, forget TR, this is a must-watch just for the comedy timing of the ‘fake text’ which Sweeny tried to pin on TR, and the producer’s reaction in the background with his head in his hands was priceless:lol1:

This youtube vid is never going to make any big ripples, but hopefully more people will wake up to the fact you can no longer rely on British journalism to provide you with accurate or fair ‘news’ without some sort of slant being placed upon it....ahh but that wouldn’t sell or gain clicks and viewers :nono:
