As above , is this a recipe for engine failure , does it need a re map to be fitted or does it just bolt straight on , does it allow higher boost or just control boost better , can some one please explain thanks

You dont need anything like this or silly turbo timers etc on an Impreza...........

I agree with you , the problem is it’s already on it , just wonder it’s purpose or if it’s been mapped for it

Get rid of it and get your oem boost solenoid mapped into it. If its been threw on and the boost turned up as you say a recipe for disaster.
