Power steering pump ? Steering rack ? Or knuckle ?

Lately I have noticed that intermittently if I'm driving straight ahead it sometimes feels like the steering wheel is "locked" and I have to sort of forceably move thevehegl left or right to unlock its whilst driving , almost like there's no power steering but it's more locked than heavy tho

it's not constant and never more than a couple of times once I've done it it's fine

fluid is fresh and correct level , belt is new and tight

I'm thinking pump but it doesn't whine or anything , steeeing is heavy ish tho compared to other cars I drive .

Pump , rack or steering knuckle ????
cheers

Try lubing the steering uj....it might be seizing up.

Have the exact same problem, just replaced the UJ which hasn't fixed it so had it back in and put on a shaker plate and actually looks like the drivers side bearing has play even though there is no symptoms and it's solid, so got a complete hub ready to get changed if that doesn't do it it'll be rack and pump next.
Been getting all the parts from mattyB, will update this thread once hub done
