Dccd problem

hey guys just wanna pick your brains . I have a dccd box on my sti but for some unknown reason at slow speed while full lock the rear feels like it’s bunny hopping in auto mode . I don’t feel it when on open mode. Is there something I’m clearly missing

thats how its supposed to be, one click forward at slow speeds is the way to go

In auto mode doing a tight turn there should be no hopping or binding as the center diff should be open.

If you‘re in manual mode and not fully open or close to you will get some binding on a tight turn.

That‘s how it‘s on my 05 Sti anyway.

I had the same problem recently on 2005 sti, it turned out to be a faulty ABS sensor on one of the wheels. These work together with DCCD so if there is an issue with the sensor it will be affected - worth checking.

Check tyres a missmatch of brands and tread depths can cause problems.

alll of the above.

also can be a sign of biding rear struts

Car is very low in height so maybe that’s not helping. Tried to raise it yesterday but had no luck

tyres all the same make and tyre size .

Are you talking slow moving forwards or backwards. If it's backwards....They all do that sir! it's the design of the rear diff. Forwards they shouldn't.
