hot dip galvanizing or powder coating
hi,
i want to remove my rear control arms rear subframe gearbox support and other suspension parts because of corroding. first i'll do sandblasting then i want hot dip galvanizing. but some sources say hot dip process may distortion some metals.(thin metals) and surface is little raw but if galvanizing process success i could paint with epoxy. i saw subframes coated by hot dip galvanizing. powder coating is another option but it's not protective than galvanizing process. what do you think about this situation? regards, Semih |
Powder coated seems the better option in my opinion |
powder coat
|
maybe powder coating with zinc primer will be better option?? |
Can't powder coat over zinc primer.

i saw powder coating primers which are including zinc. maybe that products coould better perform like this https://www.tiger-coatings.us/filead...s_69-90500.pdf |
