having been looking for an impreza for a while ill give an honest opinion.
Zanys is one of the best i have seen, only parts that ruin it for me are the ht autos bolt on crap under the car but easily removed all the other mods are 100%
shrekstas car is also lovely, the wheels are not for me but again easily changed.
both cars are sought after i.e. genuine jdm widetrack and sorted and forged hawk.
bryans car and the owner just make me laugh, he once claimed it was an my05 when its obviously an my04 narrow track that no body wants, he has claimed at least 3 times i have seen to have taken a deposit but STILL for sale.
High mileage, unwanted model and rusty underneath... worth at least 5k less than the other two,by no means a bad car but nowhere near the asking price hence being for sale forever 7.5 to 8k on a good day.

But it turns out you can polish a turd.

Best money I've ever spent mate. You're car is gleaming. Invest in a ceramic coating, think of all the time you'll have on your hands to take pictures 🤳🤳🤳🤳

£450 I paid mate, was meant to be 500 but got a discount because I had the calipers done at same time. in terms of how long it lasts I'm not 100% sure, you can still apply wax on top of it if you're that way inclined lol.

yeah i always apply a quick detail wax as i work down a quarry and the dust is unreal sometimes so need to protect it as much as possible.i even do all my windows with it and the water just beads off, @ 70mph in the rain i have no need for wipers lol

That picture of the car outside was taken at the open cast where I used to work lol. I drive heavy plant for a living so you can imagine the sites aren't tarred with marked bays lol. I've had a works van now for about 6 months so she sits tucked up in the garage and taken out occasionally

cuprajake 28 January 2019 05:22 PM

Same way you can't compare an sti to a wrx ?

wrx2005 28 January 2019 05:28 PM

bryan if you want to sell your car id stay of the forums, every post you make just makes you look a bigger moron.
the car is ok but price it realistically and dont compare it to far superior cars like in this thread.
any impreza enthusiast knows an my04 is the poor inbred cousin of the jdm widetrack.

Thanks mate

cuprajake 28 January 2019 08:55 PM

Exactly. Cant compare sti to a wrx.

too many difference's thats why an sti will cost you double the cost of a wrx and a jdm will be nearly the double of a uk sti
In terms of uk cars the widetrack sti is the best uk newage car .

No worries mate will definitely do that. Ps. I think the same method works on manifolds. not sure how well but just incase you wanted to give it a go. stay tuned.

cuprajake 29 January 2019 08:45 AM

what were you wet sanding? the inside edge of the wing? most people who fit new wings to impreza dont copy the primer edge on the inside, dont take offence but that looks like its had a wing fitted, wether that be the case or not, you be better getting some primer coat mixed and spraying that there than gloss looks totally odd and screams accident damage
