Decent Battery recommendations
Hi all,
Can anyone suggest a good reliable main battery. I have a Varta one that's about 4 years old now. Doesn't seem to hold charge long, then alarm chirps on start up so I charge it up again with my Ctek charger. On my PSi3 dash mounted ECU reader, it shows the charging voltage of between 13.9 and 14.2 volts etc, so it's getting plenty of juice, just doesn't hold it for more than 4 or 5 days in the colder months. I'd like to get one online and have it delivered, does anyone run Bosch perhaps? 2007 STi Hawk. |
Yuasa silver.

I got a Yuasa off a famous auction site for the Audi, been fine.

Found this on Ebay for £78 with free delivery :

Size measures up fine, plus this one has an extra 5Ah compared to the Varta one. Time to give the car a winter treat, thank you very much for the help guys, much appreciated. Matt |

Thats cheap, they couldnt get close on price for a 110 battery, even with their code applied, they were £28 quid more(with code) and it wasnt a Yuasa, it was a Lion brand iirc.
