Dishwasher f3 fault
Can anyone please please help, my dishwasher prima LPR 600.
has a f3 alarm, i know this is a heating system fault. Runs half a cycle then stops with fault, reset alarm and it finishes but does not heat up or dry dishes. Iv checked the element with a meter, with my meter around 26 ohms so I think that is ok? There is a flow reed swith on the side which is responding strange to my meter and magnet, would this cause the f3 fault. Going to try check thermistor next. Thanks |
Ok so got thermostat out and no reading from it so its blown.

If you fancy a gamble, connect the two wires to your old one.

Update.
Ok so this is now sorted but was 2 faults, thermostat was faulty, cut the wires for a new one, turned out the origional part with correct fitting is obsolete anyway, but same fault 3 flashes on panel. So before buying a new dishwasher took the door panel off to look at board in case if obvious fault as board almost same price as a whole new machine, and found two broken wires where the door bends open, so i re joined with solder, shrink wrapped and its now spot on all sorred, not sure if the door wiring posibbly dammed the thermostat also. Thanks for all links was much help in finding the part |
