Mechanical speedo converter help

Hi I'm looking for a mechanical speedo converter for my 1995 sti ra Can't find one anywhere. Anyone know where I can buy one Also will it remove the 112 limiter. Being mechanical how would it if you disconnect the cable wouldn't that remove it

Removing it will obviously stop the speedo but it will also restrict you to about 3k revs if I remember right it might be 4k. It also puts the cel on cause the ecu is seeing no speed signal. The v1/3 the speed signal comes from the clocks. I might have a converter here somewhere i'll have a look you'll be very lucky to get a new one I'm 99% sure there discontinued.

Yeah getting rare now, just sold my spare one

It removes the 112 limiter but never actually removes it as such, just moves it, if you were to ever hit 180 mph the limiter would kick in lol

There are some motorbike ones on ebay for around 35 £ , they may work or worth a bodge to make it work
