Air con compressor failed!
 

Now my problem - question - Air Con. WRX STi 2009 330S

Been having problems on and off with air con every few months for last 2 or more years.
Been into air con "specialists" and main dealer. Changed high and low por valves and some O rings. Compressor quite noisy.

Seems to lose gas over 3 months ish, and this last time inside a month.

Today was misting up inside car, air con on but doing nothing .. checked - ZERO pressure in system. Regassed with leak stopper and 1 450g can refrigerant. Compressor started up - on, off, OK. Then came on, stayed on, pipes in and out compressor REALLY hot - water boiled off them! and high pressure port plastic cap had melted threads!
While watching this ..... WHoosh, cloud of oil and fridge gas came out of n/s compressor body - looks like blown compressor gasket??

Found a recon one on ebay. Any other parts I'll need - high/low hose O rings perhaps?

Any tricks to fit new compressor?
