Dont risk running your car on something thats not 100% mate not worth the hassle as said its cheap enough i wont put meth in mine after a few months let alone when its gone brown bud

Blimey ill start driving it over to you lol

That's how much good quality race methanol costs. Usually circa £75 for 19L.
Cheap commercial grade methanol is a fraction of the cost, but you'd be a lot better running proper stuff. Better yet just use race fuel if an extra few Bhp is so important.
Methanol is horrible stuff, I certainly wouldn't be using some old stuff thats in an old rusty drum. Sod that!

I am not gone juse it its to risky to the healthy of my engine.

joe v3sti 15 November 2018 02:35 PM

I think you have made the best decision there

Meth

from memory meth shouldn’t be in metal containers as it corrodes it
thats why you need to only add it to your fuel mix then use
them add normal fuel again
shouldntnt be left in tank and fuel system
( from memory )
