It's a load of bollocks, 'very' unlikely to make any decent money.
plenty info on moneyexpert.com

JackClark 12 November 2018 08:31 PM

That could be true, could also be worth 50p which is great for the amount of effort.

The idea behind Initiative Q is to first create a critical mass of users, which can then be harnessed to create the world’s best payment network. Therefore, our primary focus is to get millions of Q members registered, after which we will continue recruiting the world’s top professionals in payment systems, macroeconomics, and Internet technologies.
a critical mass of users only interested in payouts....not a critical mass of users interested in using a new payment solution. So how they will be able to convince investors to invest in their idea is beyond me. and then if it fails they are left with a huge list of name & emails of people who are all a sucker for a free meal ticket, and that list is worth money to someone :)

so if you do sign up - create a new email account and sign up that way.

Sound advice.

Quite likely nothing, but I do get more internet points for every sign up.

from the site dashboard...

Invite people you know personally and secure an additional 8,450Q

hence the gamification they talk about in moneyexpert - basically a ponzi/pyramid scheme without any money involved...

Those are the best pyramid schemes.

From the site.

Pyramid schemes collect money from new members and distribute it to earlier members. In contrast, joining initiative Q is completely free. So, clearly, there is no money to hand up the “pyramid” to earlier members.

Initiative Q does reserve Qs for members who join, and more Qs are reserved for early members and to those who invite their friends. However, the value of these Qs will come from them being gradually accepted as a better currency, in accordance with the “equation of exchange” in economics. Read more.

Initiative Q’s marketing approach is not different than that used by many companies, such as Dropbox, Uber, AirBNB, Zoho and others, that compensate users who invite their friends. In Initiative Q’s case new registrants may sometimes see more value in the reward, resulting in more invitations being sent.

The requirement that new members be invited by existing users has an additional benefit, detailed in the previous question.

Kind of, I saved a ton of money by using a Dropbox referral link on here years ago.

yeah but saving money on a purchase and handing out money are 2 completely different things....hence 'every tom, dick & harry' jumping on it to get supposed free money, and more so if your mate in the bar uses your link cause you get more money again. Whereas if they told everyone we'll give you a % cashback (based on how early you sign up for example) on purchases with Initiative Q once they're live - you'd still never get anywhere near the amount of people signing up

dont get me wrong its a no brainer as its just an email address at mo - but as that link says, as they proceed it'll be interesting to see what other info theyll require - the free money will have to have a valid address of some sort to be received/cash out

Does yours come with an iPad, unlimited beer and a couple of virgins? If not then no, it doesn't help :)
