LM500 on 2.0
 

Anyone had any dealings with an LM500 on a 2.0 JDM newage? Just interested to know how 'laggy' it will be in comparison to say an LM450 spec'd turbo.

Has Russ not had one of these on his spec c? Might have been a 480...

Chevron turbo on his. He has an LM500 and we were trying to work out whether it would be laggy on a 2.0 despite the Turbo Dynamics site stating the 500 is for both 2.0 and 2.5 engines.

Ah, well i'll not tell you anything more than the big chap already has. Being JDM with twinscroll and big port AVCS heads, it'll be better than the uk version for sure.. Some say you can amend your driving to eek out lag and to an extent thats true and absolutley fine for a track car... If you're still running yours daily, i'd imagine it'll be a bit different. Especially at this time of year.

We both weren't sure though. Car is going to be off the road soon over winter to get the upgrades done and then just used for a bit of fun from now on. Just wondered if it was so laggy to the point it would drastically affect driveability.
