Litchfield T25 re-build
Hi guys,
I've just had my T25 rebuilt using forged parts and a nitride crank. I understand it uses a twin scroll turbo from Litchfield and makes 360 bhp. As far as I know its not been modified apart from what Litchfield have done to it. The car is now ready for mapping, I'm wanting to know is 360 the max for the turbo or is it possible to get more. Cheers Danny |
A type 25 is supposed to be around 400 to 415 bhp according to the internet |

Standard Tmic is 350 to 360 bhp on that turbo , so at 360 you are where it should be |
Thanks for the replies, its an early one 2004 build number 5.
What torque figure should I be expecting Cheers Danny |
torque is very similar to bhp , it appears to be 256 ft pound |
A T25 should have the 2.5 and 415ish bhp. Unless it's the T20 2 liter block

I believe the Mk1 type 25 had a hybrid turbo done by turbo dynamics and as mentioned it was around 350 bhp standard for a MK1 type 25. Mine has been mapped by Roger Clarke and made 360 brake with 380 ft/lb (With RC manifolds)

The MK1 T25 did have a hybrid turbo which used the standard VF37 compressor cover , which was machined for a bigger (cast) comp wheel and welded exhaust housing. Used a Garret BB core.
Mine made 380hp after mapping, but on a 2.0 SpecC lump. |
