What suspension??

I have a turbo 2000 MY 2000 and its standard and original suspension which as you can imagine is a little tired now! i would like to lower it a little and firm up the ride without it being to hard.i have looked at different set ups and different manufactures, i would like to to keep strut and spring rather than coil overs, but again that opens up so many combinations,so if you guys could offer any advice and experience of what is good and what is not that would be great.

Those are for the newage.
For a classic - excel-g struts are fine, combined with P11L springs.
