What your thoughts on running meth
hi guys I'm looking at putting a meth kit in my scooby and wondering from people who have done it was it a worth while mod? |
Funny enough was watching a video on using med, sounded win win, keeps engine cooler i believe. Seems a worth while mod.

Don't know anything about USA, but it's been used over here for a while and Australia checkout MCM.

You will need to beef up a number of seals and o-rings as meths is naughty to rubber.

I had a meth map done last month and it transformed the car massively. Gained 90bhp and 70lb on a 20% mix |
think op's asking about spraying up into the intercooler at throttlebody, advanced systems inject into each cylinder, plumbed in at the manifold but the base one does at TB.

Easier and cheaper to just mix 20% in the tank. My old scooby had this mapped and I plan to have my spec c done when I have some spare pennies. Expect big HP and torque gains with lower temps with no downsides other than mixing it in at the petrol station. Plus with meth at roughly 50p a litre, saves some money too :thumb:
