100,000 mile service

My 2003 STI is currently pushing 98,000 miles so just shy of hitting 100,000, it has 15 stamps in the book so the plan is give it a monster service for peace of mind & do it on a round number that puts a solid invoice in the service history.

It had an oil & filter change @ 97,000 & currently what I've come up with is:
  • Cambelt, Pulleys & Water Pump
  • Spark Plugs
  • Air Filter
  • Fuel Filter
  • Engine Oil & Filter
  • Gearbox Oil
  • Front & Rear Diff Oil
  • Braided Lines & Brakes Bled
  • Clutch bled (maybe a braided line too so it doesn't feel left out)
  • Coolant Flush
  • Power Steering Fluid
  • Probably throw in a compression test for good measure (just because)

Anything else I should be looking at, valve clearances maybe? The car is stock apart from PPP & a Forge BOV.

Is there a recommended place to have the service done in Hampshire or the surrounding county's?

Cheers :thumb:

a health check on a dyno would be a good idea along with waxoyl underneath. Perhaps change out the old rubber hoses for some nice new ones

That's coming after the service when it's tip top :norty:

As in coolant hoses? I guess swapping out perishables every 100k doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Cheers

PCV and breather hoses? They can get gunked out over time.
Clean out intercooler, clean MAF and boost control solenoid.

Is that replace the PCV assembly & clean out the hoses?

She's getting an IAG air oil separator for Christmas & I was thinking about replacing the PCV valve then (I believe it comes with it's own hoses).

Sensor cleaning added to the list, thanks :)

Then just a good check over of bushes and gaskets while it's in bits. In particular make sure the rocker cover and cam oil seals are ok as it'd be a good time to do it while you've got the belts off.

Are you psychic? :luvlove: It's just had new wipers...

I'd also just had multiple rounds of polish, just needs a couple of washes to remove all traces of polish before it gets waxed...
