best quality and value for money (IMO) is the ID1050's..............
|
asnu injectors in mine and are great , uk company aswell
|
Injector Dynamics should be good,
|
I have injection dynamics 850s at the min and they were a bitch to seal up. Ended up having to use 2 seals on each. They are getting changed to deatschwerks next time I have an excuse to remap it.

Running ID1000's on mine, perfect fit and performance.
|
Id ask whoever is mapping the car on their opinion.
|
you know it wont be enough at some point. 800cc would be a popular choice but you would be roughly at 90% of their capability. i would go for no other than injector dynamics 1000cc if i was you. very easy on day to day commute very smooth on low revs and very reliable. i made 677 bhp and 741nm torque on my built 2.5 but they were at 97% of their capability.

However, I'm only running 405bhp. As I worked my way up from the low 300s every tuner (Powerstation, ScoobyClinic, Rawle, Enginetuner) before they started the mapping session said they were too big and won't give stable idling or they'd be difficult to fine tune. Yet, none encountered any problems with the ID1000s. I get the impression that they're a 'fit and forget' option in that they can handle a wide range from medium to very big power. |
Shreksta, are you sure you need bigger injectors for 500hp?
mark@lateral used to advise as a rough guide that you could divide the cc with 1.35 to arrive at a bhp figure the injectors would support at 3 bar on a Subaru. For 740, this works out at about 550. |
650-740 will do for 500, but I'd go with the latter to give a little room left over instead of strangling the injector with the lower cc |
If he was starting from zero injectorwise I'd agree completely, but if he's got injectors that will do the power already it seems somewhat wasteful to spunk another 400 or so on injectors :)

I’m going id1000s on mine. |
