i use fuchs oil in my forged 2.5 and used it in my previous 2.0 impreza aswell and never had any issues. gear oil i think in mine is motul and castrol in the diffs.

is it track use or fast road?

Motul
Millers
Fuchs
Gulf

You can't go wrong.

As already mentioned, Motul, Millers, Fuchs, Gulf etc. Most popular from us is the Motul Gear300 75w-90 and Millers CRX 75w-90 NT+ https://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-673-75w-90-gear-oil.aspx

And you get scoobynet discount.

Cheers,

Guy

have always found the guys at AS Performance far better informed and better pricing than anyone else??

Just had mine serviced used the following

5L Engine Oil - Millers CFS 10w50
5L Diff/Gearbox Oil - CRX 75w90NT+ (7966)

Can definitely feel a difference compared to what previous owner had in it. Gear changes smoother . Be careful the race spec miller gearbox oil seems to cause a whine, as it probably formulated to work better at higher temp(track use)

It shouldn't be causing a whine, has that happened just since the oil has been changed?

Cheers,

Guy

no mines not whining. it was a previous thread some mentioned that the race spec oil caused them issue. hence my choice at just the premium. the previous person swapped out for motul oil and the issue was resolved so on that occasion it was purely the oil causing the issue.
mine running very smoothly and quiet
