Fancy bolts?

Hi all, where can I find fancy bolts to replace my crusty front wing bolts with? It is the ones that are in the engine bay that I'd like to replace. I've seen a few dress up kits over the years but I cannot find what I need (6x fancy bolts)

Rallytech used to do a kit with different coloured washers if that’s what your after

Don't be tempted to use stainless bolts. Galvanic corrosion will rust away all the mild steel nuts and panels they screw into eventually. Use Zinc plated or Cad Pass plated bolts if you can. You can get these from any good bolt supplier for peanuts.

Stainless is Ok if you're using stainless nuts and and washers too, when bolting together plastic things. On my old Pug 205 I replaced a lot of the bumper/spoiler bolts with stainless and I can still undo them easily, unlike the usual ones which rust up within a year. At least on the Impreza a lot of body parts use those plastic clip things which can't rust ... they just go brittle and break instead.

Yes I agree. I use stainless on all plastic bits where I can too.

Bought mine from zspecdesign.com a few months ago. Easy to remove when needed, as I covered them in copper grease and haven’t had a problem since. fitment.

Nice. That looks cleaner than my kitchen.

thanks bud! It’s not exactly where I wanna be. Find cleaning an engine bay harder than cleaning the car on the outside! :lol1:. It’s all the conduit that tends to attract the dirt more than anywhere else I find. Want to get a few bits also but that will come with time.
