22 mm Rear anti roll bar advice
 

Hi all I'm am considering changing my rear arb to a 22mm adjustable one and leaving the front one stock. The car is a 07sti with prodrive springs and kyb (I think) shocks.
Is this the right way to go on a road car or am I better off going 22mm front and 24mm rear.

With a 19mm front (if yours is) and 22mm rear ARB you should be able to get to a nice balance

Yep, I agree that leaving the front standard and upgrading the bushes on the front and fitting a 22mm adjustable on the rear is the right way forward. It's a great combo and should always be 1 size bigger on the rear compared to the front. 24mm is just too big for UK roads.

Also consider uprated end links like the solid whiteline KLC32 links. Make a BIG difference.

I ended up buying the perrin one that zany linked on ebay and am going to order some perrin droplinks to go with it tomorrow. How much of a difference will this make to the car.? Will it change the balance much?
​​​​​​I changed the bottom ball joints, and droplinks on the front at the end of July for oem and had it tracked ect and planned to fit anti lift, roll correction, steering rack bushes and group n top mounts next year. However I can't seem to stop spending on the bloody thing and bought a anti lift at the weekend and am now going to get the rest to go with it over the next couple of months.
So do I fit the arb and links now or wait.
Or fit now with solid links on the front as well and do the rest at a later date.
I don't want a tail happy car in the winter

Yep, solid links front and rear make a massive improvement in my experience.

depends on the exact age / model of car...........

if it has the later 'ball joint' style links as std then do NOT fit the solid alloy bar type as have found they can cause stiction (only use these to replace the plastic bar style) - if you want to uprated ball joint style then the likes of Whiteline & Superpro do suitable kits

I have a brand new CDF drop link kit at home still in original packaging I purchased form my 56 reg Hawk a few years ago but never used.

Scratch that, mine was a WRX and the kit is different, won't fit your widetrack car.

resistance to moving fluidly...........
