My 2004 Blobeye

I have always wanted a Scooby and after owning a Type R FN2 for 5 years, it was time to leave the naturally aspirated club in favour of some boost!. After shopping around for quite some time I finally found a car that I fell in love with took delivery of it just over a month ago.

Things that I have done to her since;
  • Fitted Prosport boost and oil temperature gauges.
  • Removed Sigma alarm and replaced with Clifford Avantguard 5.5 alarm.
  • Fitted Tein coilovers (I was forced to do this because the car was fitted with cheap ebay coilovers that I was hoping would last a year but the top mount bearing started to seize and one of the shocks started leaking)
  • Fitted Scoobyworld STI gearknob
  • Full service, timing belt change and Waxoil applied to the underside of the car
  • Stuck boosted snail decals on the spoiler ends (I know these will not be to everyones taste, but I like them and pretty much sums me up as the big kid that I am haha)
  • Replaced ebay STI grille logo that had faded with OE STI logo from Subaru.
Things that I would like to do soon but need to recover from the mula spent so far;
  • Replace number plates with some pressed plates
  • Replace the STI logo on the steering wheel as the previous owner's steering wheel lock has damaged it
  • Replace rear boot STI logo with a proper OE one (finding hard to source atm)
  • Replace current head unit
  • Install a sub
  • Install some 'Hella Horn' (I know some people hate these but I quite like the look)
  • Install some green neon footwell lights (dont judge me but I think they would look cool...havent been able to find somewhere that actually sell these yet other than on ebay)
  • Replace the front splitter (I have already snapped the current one on an uneven road, but have glued back together, just cant is not being able to bend or flex)

Welcome to the boosted club :)

Looks really nice that does,and info on the power it has? Has it been mapped?

If your looking for a good specialist to look after her I highly recommend thwaites in Warwick.

Thank you....the dealership that I bought it from said it was mapped but I have no paperwork to prove this and coming from a Honda anything that is boosted will feel like it has been mapped haha! I have however found an advert online from a previous owner that had a lot of the work completed at 'Pole Position' who judging by the comments on the forum are really good guys too and this states that it was mapped by someone called with the surname 'Carr'. Now that I have all the fundamentals such as alarm and complete full service sorted I am going to contact Pole Position to see if I can get some deets of the build history from them and then get it on the dyno.

All work that I have had completed so far (bar the car alarm) has been done at Arden Bridge and I must say their service and workmanship have been second to none!

Hey bud, just taken these for ya...(shaft is wonky because I have it in first gear on the drive), it does sit a little higher than the standard but its worth it because I think it looks the mutts nuts haha
