New member thinking about buying a 2003 Forster with an issue
Hello All
New here; based in the UK As you can see I'm thinking about buying a Forester (2.0 petrol, manual, 2003) My mum, bother and uncle have all had good experiences with theirs, so . . . . Only issue with the one I've been offered (108k miles, £400) is that the diver's window doesn't work and is stuck about 2" open -- seller says it needs a new fuse but all the other electric windows work fine. So: what to do? Buy it? Or no? THANKS |

Thanks! Looks like you're not far from me in the Midlands.
Anything else I should check out or be warned about? It's had its cam belt done. THANKS |

MOT, panels etc all OK. You know I think I might just buy it! |

I've a 2002 Forester Sport with 56k miles on the clock... it's great.
It's nice sitting that bit higher up than in the Hatch STi 330s lol |

Hi, sorry no I passed on it. I think the tax / insurance / mpg was more than I'd bargained for. Will look out for one in future, or maybe an Outback.
