STi Centre Caps

Hello all.

My 06 STi with the gold STi alloys is missing its centre caps: clearly 'offed' during the past 12 years. No-one locally can source any, and Ebay hasn't - for once - delivered the goods.

The outer diameter of the cap seems to be a fiddly 57mm: I imagine the inner flange (matron) is around the 52mm mark.

Any breakers out there? Clues? Or should I just give up.

Har har.

I bought some on ebay they were unbranded as i could not find any with a logo on , you maybe able to stick a subaru badge on after or just leave them as they are

Hi. I have STi stickers - but Ebay hasn't managed to cough up the centre caps. 60mm jobs didn't fit. 55mm ditto. At least it was a cheap fail, lol.

Do you have 17" wheels? Any chance you have an Ebay link?

Thanks anyway.

Likelyhood is the wheels might not be genuine suabru hence different centre cap fitment. But found these on amazon.

Well, 60mm is too big: 55mm too small. I hope I've hit Goldilocks territory with 57mm.

Amazon order placed. I have STi stcikers from www.subarubits.co.uk

HAVE IT :thumb:

And, ironically, I will have spent £18 on FleaBay by the time I nail this.

I'm 42, but still act like an 18 year old. :facepalm2:

I bought some off e-bay and the lugs were too big on the caps to push into the centre hole so i just peeled the gel sticker off and stuck it directly to the wheel, ended up looking like this,

Can't remember the seller though as it was a good few years ago.

I have those stickers, I believe.

Are you saying you just put stickers over the holes? Didn't they fall off? Any glue used? LOL.

Anyway - they look spanking...and...weight reduction, yo! :lol1:

Gsi Jay 26 August 2018 06:55 PM

No they didn't fall off :lol1:, didn't use any extra glue either, the glue that was already on there to stick it to the cap itself was enough, they're sat in the garage now though, no tyres and unloved and have been for the last 6 years.

Scooby Bits (eBay) do custom sizes if you e-mail them. They did some for my Inovite alloys.

Tasty.

The stickers were the easy part: it was sorting the size of the caps that was the pain in the arse. 17" OEM wheels are 57mm outer and 55mm inside diameter. It seems....
