It does say the battery was punctured, are all other tablets puncture proof?

Batteries (whether they be pouch cells or cylindrical based) should all pass the basic puncture compliance tests, many Chinese suppliers have some rather lax QA in place which is putting it lightly which may explain why this has occured - maybe a duff batch or something.

Jack runs on an apple micro chip and battery and he's not exploded yet.

Not convinced bearing in mind he has not been on here in ages so maybe his battery packed up aswell :D

I'm here just not much going on to comment on. Batteries are fine :)
