anthing can be fixed its a case of how much it will cost and wether you can afford it. usually its the strut turret that rusts so im guessing that could be cut out and plated. someone with welding experience might be able to give a better idea of the work involved.

id tell you to go spec savers but last time I did I drove her in to the corner of the house lmfao, it is though tbh its come all way through, I've sent pictures about but ya looking a grand easy, the other sides looking as bad, previous owners obviously never heard of a jet wash, other than than she's sound.

You obviously have never owned old Ford or VX`s,
Thats nowt, new filler neck(take off tank too be safe) and a couple of plates, a decent under seal/stone chip, filler pipe isnt cheap, but a grand is a bit of a stretch for that,
While tank is out get under and under seal what you cant normally see, you could buy a welder and fix it for under 600 quid lol, couple of cutting discs for a cheap grinder, and a couple of magnets to hold it in place,
Mig welding is easy.

Whoaa. Maybe a little welding would help. Guessing what happened to that sad car but wishing you can revamp it. Post some pics after!
