Track Day Insurance - Who / Cost / Cover type
Hi all,
Generally speaking I have never bothered with the extra cover, silly I know, and you could say I have been lucky, but I am now wiser and more sensible and would be keen to know who people use and what you are paying broadly speaking. I asked Ian Morley when I renewed my insurance about it, and he said to give him a ring nearer the time which I will. I also noticed that Reis is quite widely recognised and sponsor at a lot of motorsport events, so I have enquired online with them too - just waiting a response. Thoughts and experiences please... :thumb: Robert |
I've recently gone with Pace Ward for my insurance, and their track cover seems good to me, although I'm yet to do a track day since being insured with them!

Just missed a call from Reis, I'll ring them back now |
Cost depends on the track, but first track day is reduced at £75 or something. But normally around up to £150 looking at the tracks I'd visit.
Excess is 10% value of the car covering the full value. Can't remember all the specifics mind, but worth giving them a call. |
Greenlight and Adrian flux offer track day cover I believe.
