Was the diff control standard or an option on the 2003 STi type UK?

SmurfyBhoy 03 July 2018 03:47 PM

SmurfyBhoy 03 July 2018 03:47 PM

Not available on UK cars till 2005, only the Solberg (that was made into the WR1) had it as standard and that was an MY04 car. Some JDM twin scroll cars (GL and Spec C) had it as standard though.

My 06 Spec D has it.

Played with it. Nothing happened. Matron.

Have you tried it when pushing the car hard (on a track obviously) that's when I can feel the difference, or in the wet set it to rear wheel bias and have a bit out tail out action.:norty:

DCCD goes a lot further back than the newage JDM's Tony. Almost all JDM STi newage had the DCCD-A fitted, the majority of Classic STi Type R/RA had the manual DCCD also.
