Open source mapping

Anyone still doing this?

Did a quick search and didn’t come up with any recent results.

Could do with someone to tweak my bugeye WRX, pretty sure these could be O/S mapped on the stock ecu? Although it’s been years since I’ve been on here actively reading (amazed it’s still here)

If it's not ECUtek it's opensource,

Plenty of folk do Carberry maps,

On the 16bit ECU carberry has some better features

Or buy a Tactrix cable and get reading on the Romraider forum :)

I did consider that option but surely by the time you’ve bought a wideband and all the stuff you’d be in deeper anyway. I don’t intend on messing about any more with it and my Classic sti has ecutek on it.

I just can’t see me messing around further with the car. I’ve been there years ago with the spiral of mods, 2.5 type R, 20g, etc and don’t really want the temptation of having the mapping stuff. Before you know it I’ll have a bigger turbo, new injectors then parallel fuel mod and my beater wagon will be ruined. Beauty of this car is it runs so sweet it’s crazy. Done over 130k and the engine is a stunner, I’ve always serviced it though every 6 months.

The only reason I want it done is because I fitted a VF29 to it when a customer of mine wanted a td04 (so I took the one of mine and had this VF sat about). It’s been on there about 2 years now and I’ve been pootling it around.
