Is this a decent brake bleed kit? Is it all I'll need?

Thanks guys

I literally bought this kit this morning as I need to bleed my rear drivers side calliper as I’ve had it removed due to a snapped bolt in the calliper. This kit should be all you need as the tube will fit on the bleed nipple on the calliper and then the fluid will collect in the bottle. Only other thing you’ll need is brake fluid to replace with the old stuff that you drain from the system.

Haha good timing! What brake fluid have you gone for out of interest?

Very good timing!! Haha

I’ve not bought any brake fluid yet as I was waiting for my Caliper to get the broken stud removed but it’s done now so I’ll be buying brake fluid tomorrow and fitting the Caliper tomorrow. But I’m sure the cap on your brake fluid reservoir states the correct type to be used in the system.

That's now the issue - it says to use DOT 3 but some people are saying DOT 5 and scooobyworld only sell DOT 4 for the blobeye STi.. :cuckoo:

No idea what to choose.. Same issue with engine oil, diff oil, and gearbox oil lol

I went and bought DOT 4, if you use this link it’s helpful to understand about different brake fluids etc.

With regards to other oils and lubricants etc I’ve not actually looked at what they take myself.
