1. But the cuts haven't cut speeding enforcement, and you claimed all enforcement is the same?

2.I certainly trust NO-ONE in speeding enforcement, because it's about revenue not road safety. I trust the police about as far as I could chuck them AND their cars. I have seen both mags and judges in action and they have an agenda, they are NOT all honest.

3. My bloke on the council all but admitted the sites were fakes for revenue. He wasn't going to come right out and say it, but he certainly refused to deny it and smiled when he did so. I've known him years, so I reckon I know what that means.

Yes they have - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41869134

So you only trust the people who tell you what you want to hear.

Well, I see you your "bloke in the council" and raise you "Neil Greig, director of policy and research for the charity IAM Road Smart"

alcazar 09 May 2018 02:19 PM

1. Fixed cameras: due to government taking all the funds. Scamera partnerships "suddenly" found that their cameras weren't as necessary as they had been when the funds were kept locally. Funny that, eh? But in our area at least, the scam vans operate 24/7 just about. No cuts THERE then?

2.Not at all. But, as you know, my experience of law enforcement, from cops to CPS to courts isn't positive. I DO NOT TRUST any part of that particular trio, and less so where they after making money, be it for themselves or government.

I DO trust someone I've known and worked with for years WHO HAS NO AXE TO GRIND.

Neil Greig? What about him? Did HE have anything to do with where the revenue cameras were sited in our town/area?

Felix. 09 May 2018 02:58 PM

1. How do you know that there were no cuts? - or are you assuming again.

2. Neil Greig has no axe to grind either and appears to be more of an expert that than the 'bloke in the council'. His research will be probably used as a basis to site the cameras all over the country. So, yes - he will have had an effect on where the cameras are sighted in your town/area

alcazar 09 May 2018 05:03 PM

1. Because the same vans are at the same sites as often as they were. Can you understand that?

2. NG is another cnut then, just after the revenue. Cameras in our are are NOT sited at accident blackspots, although those exist. They are NOT sited at or near schools. They are sited where they will get the maximum revenue.
End of.

And when we complain of dangerous roads, and/or junctions, we are told, (by the SCP), "There's no such things as dangerous roads or junctions, just dangerous drivers".

What UTTER bullshine.

And you know for definite as you will check the times on each and every van every time its there - you must have a lot of time off work - can you understand that.

So, you know nothing about Neil Grieg, what he does and the research he has achieved - but because he doesn't fit in to your little world you call him a 'cnut'. Who said they have to be sited at accident black-spots and schools? They are sited at places following consultation with councils and local residents and using the research which Neil Grieg and similar people have supplied to them and this will include near misses. End of.

Yes - and one of those considerations will be speeding, drivers unable to stick to a speed limit on that stretch of road.

God, you talk out of your arse, you really do.

Keep on living in your little bubble, defending the indefensible, talking shoite.
Your uniform abviously has leached away what brain cells you had to start with.
Stop giving it the government line and start seeing the real world.

I used to think you had SOME sense, and that those who called you on here were abit ott...no more: you are so part of the little band of piggies it's unreal.

No wonder almost all the public hate you lot.

Except almost all the public don't hate the police do they, lets be honest. A small percentage of society (with a chip on their shoulders) hate they police, the rest of the population generally view them with the same level of indifference they view most things.

Ah - I feel that you have lost the argument and now just resort to abuse.
I wish you good luck in sticking to those limits. :thumb:

What - by suggesting that its better off sticking to a speed limit on speed restricted stretch of road?

If you want to put your foot down and speed along it, that's fine - just accept the fact that you take a chance by doing so.

So how is this advice showing that I am a 'poor excuse for a public figure' and 'doing he colleges great harm'

I agree, most of the police to a dam good job, considering what/who they have to deal with.

However I do think having to mix with the dregs of society on a day to day basis, it can get to some, in which case they can become very bitter and twisted with the world as a whole.

Unfortunately this can come over when they are dealing with normal law abiding people.............

Hence the hate.
